It has been announced that until further notice in response to concern about the worldwide spread of novel coronavirus(COVID-19) pandemic comes, all the municipal buildings will be kept close to public effective.
The departments that will be closed under notice includes the Crest Pier Recreation Center, Borough Hall, the Joseph Von Savage Memorial Pool, Wildwood Crest Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, and the Wildwood Crest Ambulance Corps building.
The staff of Borough Hall will be available via e-mail and telephone during normal business hours. If an emergency comes, the public will be re-directed to 911.
It has been also announced that all the meetings of the Borough that were scheduled from March 18 to the end of the month have been canceled in which Recreation Commission meetings and the Tourism Development Commission are on the 18th of March and meeting of Green Team is on 24th of March.
On Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at 5 PM Borough Hall, The Wildwood Crest Board of Commissioners meeting was scheduled which is going to take place as expected. Any individual is allowed to attend the meeting but at their discretion. It has been heard that Borough will be providing a Livestream of meeting on its official Facebook page.

The registration for Beach storage box rentals will begin at 9 AM, March 23, Monday. The registrations will be taken online through wildwoodcrest.org.
